Elizabeth Natalie Schram (aka Bitty Schram) was born on July 17, 1968 in Mountainside, New Jersey, USA. She is a Golden Globe nominated American actress known for her role as Evelyn, the baseball-playing mother in Penny Marshall's A League of Their Own (1992) where Schram's character was the focus of the now famous line, "There's no crying in baseball!". She is also widely known for playing Sharona Fleming in the television series Monk.
